Who this covers
This policy explains how Gus Tonsay ("I", "me") collects and uses information on retirewithgus.com and its related pages. If you have questions about anything here, email gus@retirewithgus.com.
What I collect
- Information you give me. When you complete the questionnaire or contact me, I collect what you submit: name, email, phone, state of residence, and the answers you provide about your retirement situation.
- Information collected automatically. Standard web analytics such as pages viewed, referring source, approximate location, browser, and device type. This is collected through Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and advertising pixels.
- Advertising data. If you arrived from an ad, the advertising platform may set cookies that let me measure whether the ad worked.
How I use it
- To respond to you and, if appropriate, schedule a conversation.
- To determine whether I am licensed to work with you in your state.
- To send follow-up email or text messages about your inquiry. You can opt out at any time.
- To measure and improve advertising and site performance.
What I do not do
I do not sell your personal information. I do not share your questionnaire answers with third parties except the service providers that help me operate this site and my practice, and any carrier or firm required to process an application you have asked me to submit.
Service providers
This site and my practice rely on third-party tools including form, scheduling, email, analytics, advertising, and hosting providers. Each processes data under its own privacy policy.
Your choices
You can ask me what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email gus@retirewithgus.com and I will handle it. You can opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link in any message, and you can stop text messages by replying STOP. Most browsers let you block cookies, though parts of the site may not work as well if you do.
California residents
If you live in California, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. I do not sell personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email gus@retirewithgus.com.
Children
This site is not directed to anyone under eighteen, and I do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
